About a year and a half ago I received a macaron cookery book for my birthday. At first I thought this was a brilliant present, the macarons on the cover looked so pretty, dainty and tasty. On closer consultation the macarons looked a little tricky to make so the book was put to one side and duly forgotten about. However, as time went by, my friend Becca and I heard more and more about how difficult macarons are to make and decided to rise to the challenge. This blog documents our attempts to master the art of macarons. We are making many mistakes along the way and we hope this blog guides others on what mistakes not to make. We’ll be grateful for any tips or comments that you think might help us.
